New York SALSA ON2 for ON1 DANCERS!
This is an higher beginner meant for dancers who are comfortable dancing ON1 Los Angeles Style but wish to be able to convert their moves and dance them ON2 New York Style.
You will learn simple turn patterns focusing more on the RHYTHM, Timing and Musicality, the differences between dancing LA Style, vs NY Style.
Choosing a style is more up to the musician / composer… the dancers interprets the music and dances according to his or her capabilities. If I’m a trained dancer in ALL SALSA STYLES and the DJ plays a Cuban Style song, I would choose to dance Casino… if the DJ plays a New York or Puerto Rican song, I would choose to dance ON2, and so on.
As a knowledgeable dancer, I would enjoy dancing all styles according the music I’m hearing, of course, I may have a “favorite” style but how would you know which style you like the most, until you know them all?
